Skin/Soft Tissue Surgery  

         All of our general surgeons are trained to handle a wide variety of problems with the skin and subcutaneous (under the skin) tissues.  Skin lesions, including sebaceous cysts and lipomas are very common conditions which can be treated by general surgeons.  Both are benign and can be easily removed if they become enlarged or symptomatic.  In addition, any number of painful skin abscesses can be drained in the office or treated in an outpatient setting, providing prompt relief to the patient.  Our general surgeons also perform more extensive surgical procedures for the treatment of skin cancers and melanoma.
