            The very broad field of general surgery encompasses many sub-specialties. Our physicians provide a multitude of general surgery services.  These include the simplest skin and soft tissue procedures, surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions of the breast, surgical treatment of abdominal disorders, gastrointestinal procedures including diagnostic and screening colonoscopies, thoracic surgeries, and complex colon and rectal procedures.        

Having pioneered laparoscopic surgery in the Philadelphia area, our surgeons use the latest in laparoscopic/minimally invasive procedures using the smallest incisions possible. At our West Chester location, our surgeons are now performing Robotic-Assisted surgery which enables them to perform more complex procedures with greater visualization than traditional laparoscopic surgery. 

            All of our surgeons are either board certified or board eligible in general surgery, with advanced training in their particular areas of expertise.
