After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Steven Fukuchi began his surgical residency and research at MCP-Hahnemann University. He transferred to Temple University Hospital where he completed his training as well as a fellowship in gastrointestinal surgery. In 2002, Dr. Fukuchi was appointed to the staffs of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center, the Riddle Memorial Hospital and the Taylor Hospital where he practiced before joining Surgical Specialists, P. C. and the medical staff of The Chester County Hospital.
Dr. Fukuchi is the recipient of a number of honors and awards and is the author of numerous papers which reflect not only his surgical expertise but his interest in medical education and surgical advancements. Dr. Fukuchi sees patients at our West Chester location.
